If you have to bring drink from your home country you are either a really tight person or you have a drink problem. That is not insulting that is fact.
Some people enjoy visiting different wine regions around the world, bringing home souvenirs to enjoy and bring back memories. I can send a case of wine from S. Africa to the USA, no problem. Not to Thailand though. :(

I have a 5kW solar system without battery, because they are way overpriced here. so, what I do, I use my car as the battery!
I basically charge every day during the day at low speed, using a portable 2kWh charger to make sure most of my production goes to the car battery, when the car is not home, it goes back to the grid at 2.2THB.
my card battery stays most of the time between 30% and 80%.
Can the car power your house during a power outage?

So if a BYD Seal AWD Performance is worth ฿200,000 after 10 years then the depreciation would be the same.
Will be interesting to see what they are going for in ten years. If dirt cheap, I'd gamble on one. Fun car.

you absolutely right, it is the same as for an ev car ... normally repairable and still retaining some value ...
you seem to have some very basic knowledge about ev cars at least ...
We were talking about battery failure - usually not repairable.

yes you are right! a had a ice car and the engine failed and I was done ...
Me too, but it was repairable, hence the vehicle still retained some value.

a battery warranty of 8 years don't mean the battery has to be replaced or can not be used anymore ...
it's the same as for a ice car, after the warranty you still can use the car as normal as before
Of course not, but if it fails, you are done.

EV's have an 8 year battery warranty.... So, drive one for 5 or 6 years then sell it under warranty.
Doubt a BYD will be worth much with two years left on the warranty. Might make sense to pick up one cheap, and drive it until it dies.

Can I bring a few (6) bottles of wine into Thailand in my checked baggage, declaring it to customs? What is the duty rate on wine?

The criticism is because Trump agreed to appear on 60 Minutes and then backed out.
Mostly because he has dementia and doesn't want to appear in an uncontrolled environment.
More likely PTSD.

Better hurry up and censor the internet.

To be accurate, it says he is willing to appear if they apologize for the laptop misinformation.

It means the difference of existing coins and the ones available is about 2 mill. Does that make it better for you, or was this you way to show you missed the train and are envious of the ones who didn´t?
Actually, it means there are 19 million BTC currently in existence and the remaining two million BTC will be mined between now and the year 2140.

Nothing to do with covid 19 and global supply issues.....how did Bidenomics managed to cause almost identical inflation in the UK and EU.....Mmmmmm?
They practice the same unsound monetary policies as the the US. And it is not just Biden. Both parties do it.

Even if they would, how do ATM receipts look like after a couple of months, you cannot read anything.
If you keep them in a ziplock bag, they last much longer.
-
Wonder if they would accept ATM receipts as proof of incoming foreign funds.

First I had to register for the service on their internet banking, not the app. The approval took less than a day., I continued to use the internet banking channel to effect transfers to UK. No problems, they do ask what the money will be used for but did not require any supporting documentation. Same with Dee Money, but registering with them required some documents to be uploaded to them tomorrow ID as I was not an existing client. Each has its own charging structure so it is worth comparing which is most advantageous to you.
Lot of complaints with Dee in this topic...

I'm still waiting for a transfer from August 1st. According to Dee, the money has been released to their partner, and they're waiting for them to get the funds to me. I will avoid them in the future. I have no knowledge of their solvency, at all -- so the following is complete conjecture. If they were robbing Peter to pay Paul, this is how it would look.
They are regulated by the bank of Thailand.
What are the alternatives to Dee?

Sorry don't have a mac but noticed nobody has replied. Worth having a search through here if you are not aware of it -
Thanks, I actually read through some of those. They all seem to be somewhat dated. Read that the latest Apple software prevents installation. Was hoping someone might have first hand experience with this.

Plenty of designs if you have a 3D printer.Yes, you are probably correct, I have been researching and some DIY ones are 5mm mdf, some plywood.
I dont think I would hang my whole workshop on one, just light stuff - the alternative tile system I picked up was plastic, held to the wall with 4 screws. I could see it bowing out under pressure. There is a metal tile but had square holes and if I was to cover 3m it would be costly.

Here is a home made one, with his collection of peg designs.
Pretty cool.

I dont know why I didn’t think of this before ..
Make my own, draw up a grid, there is an American standard for the spacing, there are even downloadable jigs for the holes. A nice piece of mdf can be found and I’m away.
Are the hooks available here? I believe pegboard is usually made from Masonite, which is quite a bit harder than MDF.
