OK, well done to Yang Talat hospital, doesnt Yang Talat have a horrendous toxic waste collection dump site as well that has long contributed to even higher rates of cancer in the Yang Talat area than the already sky high rates in Isaan due to the high levels of pesticides, weed killers, field burnings trash burning etc? It doesnt sound like a good idea to go to Yang Talat and spend a week in hospital there just to get some polyps snipped. God help me, dont let me get started on what I have been through for 26 years at the hands of the medical "profession" in Thailand.

I've never had a really serious drinking problem, my problem is more that when I drink I drink far too much, or I used to, I seem to have gotten that under control in the last few years, though most amateur drinkers and particularly American women will say I have a problem because I dont have one small beer and stop, I like to get buzzed as well as have something I enjoy drinking just from a beverage point of view. That seems to constitute having a drinking problem in most of the US. Anyway, as far as quitting drinking my guess is that if you are always drinking everyday and for years that becomes normalized for you and you don't remember anything different. I would say, cultivate better hobbies and to do that well you need to do things that you enjoy with your free time well otherwise they are not rewarding enough to stick with or enjoy much. If you are hung over or buzzed, you just will not have the presence of mind to say learn to play a musical instrument well enough or to acquire knowledge and insight in a particular extracurricular subject so that it becomes fun and easy enough for you to do. So, the way I see it, you have to create a situation for yourself where you really dislike being buzzed or hungover because it interferes with your abilty and presence of mind to be able to do something you enjoy doing. But everyone's different, some people, or so it appears to me, seem to just power through all kinds of things well enough blasted on something or recovering from that. That is rather a disadvantage it would seem, not a strength as it might appear at first, because you might have trouble developing a reason you shouldn't drink. So, any more than a once a week drinking session and I am unhappy about how little quality time I am left with to persue reading with maximum focus, meditation, creative writing and musical pursuits. I am already spread hopelessly thin with all of those, too many interests, and I have others that are back burner, its impossible, I almost never get anywhere with anything anyway, but enough so that I enjoy doing what I do though most people give me an exasperated eye roll say about my songs and ideas about say poetry. Drinking? I really enjoy it but more than once a week and it soon loses its appeal. I feel blessed that it is that way for me, but I think it can be for many, be an escape hatch from daily heavy drinking, you just have to put the time in to get good at a rewarding pursuit and you can likely greatly reduce drinking or perhaps even stop altogether. I think its simply, vapes are new and the health hazards are as yet unknown. Some of the posts above seem to hint at vapes actually being healthier or healthier in the case of cigarettes, which is not really the same thing. More to the point is, if you ask me, is enjoying weed in moderation. If you are smoking it 6-7 times a day thats a lot of either tar from conventional old school smoking or god knows what is in the liquid THC, which as someone pointed out above is clearly still criminalized because its an extract, so isnt that the key issue? I guess that doesnt drum up enough hysteria and outrage as "Look they're pushing THC vapes on 8 year olds." Any which way you can to make a buck right? Money is God. right? And another case of the government feeling they need to mind people's children which is a gateway to taking kids away from parents and human trafficking them. So two can play the hysteria about children game, tho' not to say that governments in many so-called developed cpuntries don't essentially abduct children on various pretenses and oops send them to be minded by psychopaths who abuse and in some cases end up selling them. I'm not holding my breath but it would be a breath of fresh smoke, if people making laws actually had any knowldge or contact with the reality they were warning against and pushing to have regulated. Also, in the case of legal smoking devices, is it so hard to compel the manufacturers to drop cute cartoons and candy wrapping? Or is it actually you are just creating another pre-text to criminalize weed again and demonize it in people's minds? To set up the whole crocodile's tears thing of you need to put people in prison and ruin their lives for the victim-less crime of smoking a bit of weed to save the children. But what's the point of saving the children if you are just going to throw them away in the trash as adults and throw them in prisons with in-human conditions.

There was a news focus video on Youtube I saw the other day about the growing movement around the United States to block the construction of these so-called AI data centers. Some of the centers consume as much water and power as city of a million people. Weirdly, some of the biggest ones are slated to be set up in Arizona, where one could imagine there's already water scarcity. One data center was successfully blocked in Arizona to be used by Amazon, but they are just going to set up elsewhere. I dont know about you, but up here in Isaan we already have brown outs and blackouts almost daily, they won't alot enough power to our half of the village to the point where you'll be resented and criticized for getting a new refrigerator. Water is also an issue. When we put in a small water storage tank to make up for the irregular flow of water and frequent water cutoffs the village headman and his team came 'round shouting at us to take it down, we were sucking up all the water using it. So either they are holding out on us (I doubt that very much) and Thailand could suddenly provide the massive amounts of power and water that data centers would require or as per usual these data centers would take sometime to come. They are making water and electricity more expensive in countries that have them and there is the real purpose to data mine and surveil the population to greater and greater extents. That the WEF is providing money tells you right there, there are foreign groups who would be surveilling and data mining Thailand. Anything the WEF is behind will be detrimental to populations, in fact this very time around we heard again from Israeli member Yuval Harari about hios favorite topic: humans are obsolete and there is reason for 99 percent of you to exist anymore, essentailly. The WEF is a transhumanist pricipaled organization and you can expect money they give you will be towards a trans-humanist Thailand.

Thailand was also victorious in a second Soros and international finance cartel color revolution attack in the 2010's and are likely undergoing a third attack now as we speak via the proxy of Hun Sen's bombing attacks on Thailand in attempts to draw Thailand into an all out war and thus weaken her for real white supremacists to gain greater control. What is equal of just about that, if indeed you actually care about equality and justice. This law could be implemented to actually support women and others but its overreach makes it tool to dominate all and sundry as such laws in your own country do, If it is actrually put into effect thailand will lose even more of of its tourist industry, whic h they are entitled to do for themselves, but I doubt Thais were asked if they wanted to treat its people and their guests in this way. To your point, ironically, the first victim of these laws was a Thai actor targeted by the daughter of an established and well known politician, Sudarat, and the article posted on this very website. Its just one of many examples that shows that at the end of the day Thai law is about class and social position, its about weaponry for political battles, not for protecting people's rights racial equality and defeating white supremacy. There are no white societies in Thailand nor have there ever been apart from voiceless largely powerless expat enclaves (and I am glad they are voiceless, the last thing I want is Thailand becoming a British colony) that could create oppressive and white supremacist structures. . Such a concept doesnt exist because it is not Thailand's history that they were enslaved by white people, colonized directly by them etc. If you think Thais find the idea of white supremacy a problem give me examples, I'd wager they are pretty scarce, I'd also wager they dont care, because its not an issue here this society has resisted it since Rama V did much negotiating to put Britain and France off taking over the place entirely. Thailand is not the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia or the UK, so your attempts to impose all of that on this country is misguided. Also I would suggest you investigate a little bit further how trying top stop human error, error that results in upset among others can be jelped by putting people in prison for what they are powerless to control, ie other people's interpretation of their harmless intentions. and I am not talking about blatant sexual harrassment, I am talking about what this law and the law in Britain forbids which is simply looking at someone. I think you will find you can do nothing to create true equality just as you cannot create a law to ban the sun from shining. and least of all because that is the last thing these peopel want, real human rights, security for all of us prosperity and a real education not brainwashing as we get everywhere.

The new laws are basically rules any decent person would have for themselves. I want to be a nice guy and be seen as friendly and cool, the last thing I want to do in a gogo, beer bar or gentleman's club is pressure or otherwise make uncomfortable any lady working there. I respect them all unconditionally, even if a few are bad apples, they are doing a job that makes me and many others happy, though not so much anymore I must admit, still their being there is at potentially great personal risk and expense to themselves, health and psychological problems are easily developed and I think that I can appreciate what they do for us who go into these places. In general I enjoy helping people to enjoy themselves thats whats fun to me, not going into a bar and sitting there like a grumpy lump and being an oblivious, demanding a-whole. Its a good feeling if you can see that a bar girl actually did get something out of time spent having a few laughs and some drinks aprt from her share of the bar tab. However, I agree with what is pointed out in these videos, these laws could easily be weaponized against "entertainment" seekers in Thailand. The way I see it, bad actors managing or owning the bars, the police and some of the girls working in these places could easily use these laws and the peril you are potentially in now, just by walking into any club in Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, or any of the similar zones in Pattaya and Phuket makes it an absolute no go for me after this development. It is in no way worth what you are being asked to risk to go into these establishments now. So I will register my non-compliance with the new laws, by refusing to go to bars or clubs in Thailand or enteratinment districts where they are usually set up and by choosing to take my holidays in other more interesting and relaxing countries in the world. I will not go to restaurants or food courts or even sidewalk food vendors and buy my sustenance at busy supermarkets that allow cashiers very little scope to initiate a problem with me for personal glory, social credit and even monetary gain. These kinds of laws potentially, if enforced/abused make it impossible to ever fully relax and enjoy being in Thailand in public anymore. It essentially puts interacting with Thais at all anywhere in a no-go zone, not just the naughty bars. It makes Thailand into an oppressive country the likes of which no one would want to visit because you are in imminent danger the minute you set foot in there countries like say the UK or Saudi Arabia. I am ridiculous and paranoid? No these new harassment laws are whats ridiculous and formulated by paranoiacs in globalist consortiums and think tanks. Though it is not surprising that Thailand wants to copy the totalitarian regimes in the farang-o-sphere, or that it may have even been coerced by globalist entities, its still a pizz poor way to try and modernize, in fact it does the opposite, its all positively medieval and sets up the "society" for the kind of grovelling and I-don't-deserve-to-even-live-m'lord-please-may-I-be-allowed-to-be-a-slave mentality of a feudalistic society. So no, It aint me who's ridiculous and paranoid.

NOt every stoner is broke. Isnt Elon a stoner? Well...maybe he is just an actor or cyborg playing the part of the wealthiest man on earth...but if I told you a friend who has been hopelessly stoned for 4 decades is also a brilliant coder who has earned 6 figures for decades I dont think it would mean much. Some are quite functional actually. Not myself, its strictly a once a week thing to do with once a week drinking.
