Can anyone please recommend a safe reasonably priced and reliable Fortuner taxi driver to meet us at the airport and take us around Chiang Mai for 3 days followed by driving us up to Chiang Rai on the fourth day in October?
All help greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

Apologies another TM 30 query.
I’m about to submit my first TM 30 form to the Immigration Office.
Do I need to complete it in black or blue ink?

Which VPN works for BT Sport?
I have tried two which both failed.

livesoccer.com is listing Dazn for the coming weekend’s FA Cup games. Please excuse my ignorance but does this mean we will be able to stream each of the games in the same way as we do for this season’s Champions League?
-
Any ideas how to watch this week’s games would be greatly appreciated.
The only announcement I’ve seen is MCOT confirming they have not renewed their license for the 2018/19 competition coupled with the EFL website omitting Thailand from their list of country broadcast deals.

Many thanks to all and especially Bangkok Blue for the tip about social media registration which enabled me to watch the whole game uninterrupted on goal.com as opposed to the previous night’ disaster.
-
Well last night’s experiment was an absolute disaster on goal.com.
I was able to watch about two minutes of the Spurs game before the streaming broke down and despite continuing to try for over two hours I only got about another two minutes of another game before the streaming went down again at which point I was absolutely fed up and went back to bed.
My internet speed whilst not fantastic and certainly nowhere near Bangkok standards is pretty good for my location.
Did anyone have better luck with goal.com or any other provider? I’m going to be seriously pissed off if I miss the game tonight.

Thanks guys. I’ll have a trial run for five minutes of one of the early games at midnight tomorrow before setting the alarm for 02.00 Thursday morning.

Apologies for being a complete technophobe but I would greatly appreciate an idiot proof guide as to how I can watch the UEFA Champions League games on goal.com this week on the assumption they are showing it for free.
Presumably I need to go onto their Thai website as opposed to their UK website or their app and click on the particular game I want to watch but what do I do then?

If you search against DAZN Singapore you will see that they appear to be experiencing exactly the same issue as we may be in Thailand with negotiations reported to be still ongoing with the usual Singapore UCL tv suppliers.
Hopefully sense will prevail shortly if not in time for next weeks games despite the huge amount of cash DAZN appear to be throwing at it. My hope is that DAZN are concentrating on their most lucrative potential markets first.

I’m traveling up from Hua Hin to meet an old friend visiting Thailand for the first time for lunch next week and would be very grateful for any recommendations for a reasonably priced place within walking distance of the Athenee hotel where he and his wife are staying.
All suggestions greatly appreciated.

I’m thinking of opening a sterling deposit account with Bangkok Bank as a hedge against a future Corbyn government following a post election run on the pound introducing exchange controls which we last saw in the UK back in early 1980s.
My plan would be to transfer cash from that account to a Bangkok Bank current account in baht as and when I needed it.
Am I correct in thinking that each time I transferred some cash Bangkok bank would charge me 2% of the amount withdrawn?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the quality of the fish and other seafood products in Bluport which are far better than VM.

I am planning a 5 night trip in June staying 3 nights in Phayao 1 night in Me Salong and the final night in Chiang Rai city.
Having searched the forum I see that getting a taxi from Chiang Rai airport to Phayao will be easy but I would then ideally like to hire a car with driver to take us from Phayao to Me Salong stay overnight and take us back to Chiang Rai city the following late afternoon after sightseeing in and around Me Salong.
i would greatly appreciate your advice on whether it will be easy to find a car and driver in Phayao to do this trip or if anyone has a number for a reliable driver with a comfortable car that would be fantastic.

That's brilliant.
Many thanks to all for their suggestions and help.

Many thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately my internet connection isn't good enough to watch live football which is why I'm dependent on True.
Does anyone know what True channel is showing this game?
-
Can anyone please tell me which True channel number will be showing this game on Wednesday night?
The Bangkok Post failed to include it in their weekly sport listings on Saturday. I know that channel 9 hold the EFL cup rights for Thailand but they have changed their name to MCOT and appear from their Thai only website to have several channels.

I have the Gold package on satellite which I pay annually and the call centre told me to pay an additional amount of 299 baht per month which I've just done at the local True Office who didn't have a clue what I was trying to do and so I had to call the call centre again and ask them to explain it to them.

Please excuse my ignorance but does anyone know whether the red true visions dish is a Thaicom Ku band because I have used that to access CTH for the last few months?
-
Thanks guys. That's great.
-
Many thanks. I'll see if I can find a better website.
-
Anyone know which CTH channel is showing tonight's game against Watford?
The CTH website is as useless as ever!

I've known him since the Clinton Plaza days. He was a really good guy.
RIP Darel

Many thanks for the help so far. Unfortunately due to back problems I really need a 6 seater car with enough room for two small Thai ladies and two kids in the back seat and a comfortable front passenger seat for me as opposed to a minivan which I find uncomfortable.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
