Russian Woman Refused Entry at Chiang Mai Airport

A Russian woman was refused entry to Thailand at Chiang Mai International Airport on 20 July after immigration officers determined she could not provide sufficient evidence of her financial means or clearly explain her travel itinerary.

Following the inspection, officials denied her permission to enter the country and she was returned to her country of departure.
