"Like Mac-insect legs with your Mac-coffee, sir?" Ronald investigates cockroach claims

A MacDonald's customer went on Facebook to show what he found in his hot coffee at one of their Bangkok stores.

Cockroach legs.

And it happened not once but twice.

"Nostalgic Eik" explained that his hot coffee came with what appeared to be a cockroach leg or two. So he took it back to the counter to say that the cup had obviously not been washed.

But when he got his replacement beverage to go with his muffin there were even more cocky legs in that one.

This left the poster feeling decidedly queasy and he demanded to know what the staff were going to do about it.

Apparently his server just yelled to his mate: "Have you cleaned the machine today?"

Ugh - that made him feel even worse and not in the mood for his Mac-breakfast at all.

He contacted MacDonald's who said it was their policy to maintain cleanliness at all their stores - even this one at Lotus on Rama 4.

They promised to send in a team to investigate and get back to the customer.

Dear sir, we investigate and not see cockroach in coffee machine.
Only see cockroach in deep fryer as many Thai love fried cockroach.

We thank you for giving idea of cockroach coffee.

We think we go serve fried cockroach with coffee taste soon.
