WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A White House official said on Friday that there has been no discussions or considerations about firing Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

President Donald Trump had appeared to raise that possibility earlier on Friday when asked whether he retained confidence in Rosenstein in the fallout over a Republican memo about the ongoing Russia probe. "You figure that one out," Trump had replied.

It is funny that Rod Rosenstein was appointed by Donald yet now Rosenstein is part of the "deep state" and must be removed. Also to note, Rosenstein was a US Attorney appointed under George W Bush and yet he is a target of certain Republicans. It is official the Republicans are "eating their own". I guess when you are paranoid you see demons in every corner.

Pretty much everyone that has been recently removed from the FBI were Republicans. Got to love the irony here. Republicans are complaining of a deep state that consists of their own members.
