Four month old foetus found in Chalong canal

Chalong Police, along with the Forensic Police and rescue workers, went to the scene to investigate.

Chalong Police were notified about the body of a foetus found in a canal in Soi Kuwattana, Chalong at about midday today (May 2).

 

Chalong Police, along with the Forensic Police and rescue workers, went to the scene to investigate.

 

At the scene they found the foetus of an undetermined gender. The body was covered with a white cloth and had been in the canal for approximately four months. The body was taken to Vachira Hospital Phuket.

..less than 20 weeks and 3 days, not considered to be able to sustain life, therefore no requirement to register death..PS i have no idea how an attending officer could ascertain this at the scene..PPS i have no idea how the attending officer can accurately say how long the foetus has been there..if it is four months then the supposedly teenage mother would no longer need medical treatment..and has probably since dropped another in the klong.
