Whenever Rooster rides past the astonishing new building that now houses the Thai Ministry of Justice on Chaeng Wattana road in the northern outskirts of Bangkok, I am always most impressed. Unfortunately, the positive feeling is fleeting.

30 Laotian illegal migrants caught on bus heading to Bangkok

Five Thais and a Chinese caught trying to enter from Myanmar

Mobile unit used for tests at condo after man tested positive for Covid-19

The Urban Institute for Disease Prevention and Control took a biosafety mobile unit to conduct Covid-19 tests on people living in a Baan Suan Thon Phuttha Bucha condominium building in Bangkok's Thungkhru district on Saturday, after a man tested positive earlier in the week. It was the first domestic case in Thailand in over a 100 days.

Surge in gold export makes up for overall slump in demand for gems and jewellery

The unidentified DJ, who became Thailand’s first locally transmitted COVID-19 case in more than 100 days, may have been infected at his work places by someone returning from abroad, or by an asymptomatic carrier, according to Dr. Kiatipoom Wongrachit, Director-General of the Mental Health Department.

October registration set for new gov’t 3,000 baht subsidy campaign

BANGKOK(NNT)-A new subsidy campaign has been launched by the government, allowing registered persons to receive a subsidy granting half the price of any of their purchases at participating stores with a cap of 3,000 baht per person throughout the campaign. Registration is set to open in October, for all Thai nationals.
