oswaldcassidy
Unfortunately I have been informed by my Samui dentist that due to gum disease he advises that I should have my remaining teeth extracted. Can anyone recommend a dentist in Bangkok where I could go and have this treatment what is more important to me is that I can go somewhere where I can get high quality dentures all advise and assistance would be welcome
allane
St. Louis Hospital on Sathorn Road (near Surasak BTS Station) has a dental department, which I think is reasonably priced. I don't know if they make dentures.
chatette
I presume you'll be getting a second opinion before proceeding with such a radical course. I would recommend contacting Mahidol Dental Hospital http://www.dt.mahidol.ac.th/eng/hospital/serv_clinics.html to arrange this. The location is 6 Yothi Road, Rachathevee , Bangkok 10400, nearby Victory Monument skytrain and accessible from Rama VI Rd. The hospital is part of the Mahidol University, so there is no commercial interest on the part of the dentists to make money from your mouth. Many of the dentists are professors and also have their own private practices. If you prefer somewhere more commercial and are in a hurry, I can suggest http://www.bangkokdentalcenter.com/ , which caters to foreign visitors wanting extensive and fast treatment. english_farang_lady
The dental hospital on soi 49 off suk in bkk is by far the best in my opinion. They are thorough, and used to dealing with farangs. Reasonably priced too. I would avoid Bumrungrad like the plague. Terrible in my view (after extensive experience).
