A serious road crash occurred at approximately 20:10 on 8 February when a motorcycle travelling at high-speed crashed into a saloon car at a Y-junction in Soi Nongkrabok, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung. Local police from Nong Prue station, along with rescue volunteers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation and medical personnel from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, responded urgently to the scene.

Mr Rachen, 52, suffered severe burns covering more than 80% of his body and was rushed to Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital in critical condition. Authorities confirmed his death on 10 February.
