All I ever download from them is old stuff with limited demand...

There's your problem right there. The big advantage with private trackers (specialist ones anyway) is the kind of very rare stuff you can't find anywhere else, but, unfortunately, you're going to have to download some newer, and thus more popular stuff (yes, I mean stuff you might not even want) to build ratio. When you first sign up with a private tracker, don't go grabbing loads of old stuff that's going to potentially take months to seed back and be dead weight on your hard drive. Build a healthy buffer first using popular stuff and freeleech (wherever possible - pretty much all trackers have them in one form or another).

I don't F%$&*# Believe it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started uploading again after a computer problem requiring a new Graphics card... Started at 4Pm on Sat.... Now 8 AM on Sunday, uploaded 2.38GB of a 2.7GB File and then the Passthepopcorn Upload page CRASHED......

Maybe the fates are working against me.

I'll try one more time, and if I can't get it up I'm blowing off the whole exercise!

But the whole experience started me thinking... If Trackers only serve as directories and Traffic Cops, etc, of content available on the net, without actually "hosting" any content directly, exactly where or to Whom am I "uploading" to?

Clearly Frustrated, :o:D:D
