gk10002000 Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 For that price you will have no problem. Flipper Lodge faces Beach road. Has a nice roof top pool. Get one of the better rooms, aka "seaview". This could be all that you need. For a little more quiet, go down towards Soi 4. Several nice hotels there and since all are between second road and beach road, the walk is trivial. Those streets are not busy connecting streets and there are basically none to few bars there except for the likes of the Welcom Inn and one or two others. They have nice outdoor pools. Mike's orchid, the one closer to Second road with the purple outdoor paint has really nice pool with the vanishing edge. Don't even worry about reservations that time of year.
