Also a roadside one on the canal road - go up Huay Kaew Road, turn left at the Phucome junction and it's on the left between Chomdoi and the Citylife office.

There's also one opposite the rear entrance (Engineering gate) of CMU.

Someone has a clue or adress?

There's a woman with a tiny, tiny "shop" just opposite the entrance to Wat Jed Yod. She's repaired shoes, backpacks, etc for me many times. Always a great repair, always almost free.

I go to a similar woman on Chang Moi road on the right side of the intersection (that would go to Kasem's if you turned left), but you go staight and she is always sitting on the ground on the other side of the intersection on the right side with a bunch of shoes and such. She also fixes bicycle seats.

The guy I use is

Pattana Sin

18/1 Ratchiangsaen Road.

Southside of the moat, (slightly) diagonally opposite Pratu Chiang Mai.

Tel: 053271053

A small shop excellent for boot, zip & leather bag repairs.

Not easy to find, outside the shop they sell noodles & magazines, but the repair guy sits inside his dark little shop fixing shoes / boots / bags / zips.

He is very good for repairing leather bags / soft motorcycle luggage.

I've been using him for years & can recommend him highly.

All work done for local Thai prices, no inflated prices or price gouging.

The yellow song taews stop outside his shop & it should be easier to look for them first.

I'd like to confirm that this guy is quite good. Prices very reasonable. The information on location here is very good. The shop entrance is barely west (toward Doi Suthep) of the gate. Easy place to pull in and stop a car for a short time. It is a song tao stop.
