Hi guys,

Does anyone happen to know of a reasonable tennis court near Sukhumvit 13 and nearby area? Looking for reasonable court (not an expensive luxurious club) that I can play nearly everyday (in- or outdoor), and if possible with a coach or a junior pro.

Would appreciate any recommend, thanks!!

Here's a list of courts you can check out:

1) Santisuk at Sukhumvit 38--Cheap but very old courts 02-391-1830 (instruction about 300 baht per hour)

2) the Racquet Club at Sukhumvit 49 Membership required

3) Asia Hotel at BTS Rachathewi--1 court 02-217-0808 Reasonably priced but a bit tricky to book

4) Sukhumvit 26, close to Carrefour 02-259-8425 250 baht per hour (Teacher 400 baht/hour)

5) Sunshine Apts at Sukhumvit 38/ SMS Timo, who is the instructor 084-671-8478

That should give you a decent start.

i have an excellent coach i can recommend. but, he is much more a coach than a knocker, so you have to be ready to break bad habits, listen to him, etc. he is the best tennis coach i have ever come across. some of his other students have been competitive as teenagers or youngsters and depending on your level he'll ask them to play with you sometimes. let me know if you want his info. he teaches at Soi 26 and the tobacco monopoly.

also, not sure if anyone mentioned Nai Lert Park. they have 2 courts. a bit pricey but it's a nice club. i would recommend 2 of their coaches.

Hi,

Could you please give me the name of your coach. I'd be very interested. I'm new in Bangkok and looking for a tennis teacher around Sukhumvit.

Thanks a lot :)
