Norcan
Hi Guys, I have to make a speech next weekend at the wedding of my joint managing director. I have been given the status of "Principle" for the wedding (her term) and as such am expected to say the right things. I have known her 5 years and she is marrying an English guy who will have about 40 friends and family there. I am not bothered about keeping the Brits happy with my speech, I am more concerned I say the right things about my staff member (who is also my best friend!). Anybody out there had to do the same thing? Any tips on what I need to say? I want to make her feel special on her day but also need to keep it within the realms of Thai tradition. Any and all help gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance.
geronimo
I'd begin by stating that your casual thing with her is off now that she's married. I mean it just wouldn't be cricket! Take her parents to one side and mention that you could match his Sin Sod and More!!!
