Unwanted Flight

Recommended Posts

I was due to fly out to Bangkok (and then on to Phuket) just before Christmas 2004 ironically with EVA. Due to an illness in the family however I was unable to travel. Contacted ebookers who told me I could change the date of travel or lose all my money. As the cost of changing the ticket was quite expensive and I had no idea when I would be able to travel I forfeited the money.

Just to add I also contacted the airline and there is nothing they can do about an outward flight...but they can assist you with the return leg only if you have already flown out.

You could try to talk directly with EVA Air in Amsterdam, few times I needed they gave excellent service to me. +31204466280

Once I was in a hospital and my returnflight ASD-BKK expired but they gave me a new one for free, they (can affort to) go much further the the regular booking agencies.

It all depends on the ticket conditions. Look at your booking class, symboled by a letter, like class Y, and check the conditions on EVa's website.

How cheaper the tickets, the more restriction will be placed on it.
