sarchar Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 Falang here! I've been traveling around Thailand for the past 3 months and thoroughly enjoy the thai language. I'm reading through some self-teach book on the language and feel like I'm progressing pretty well. I still think I *need* a native thai teacher if I'm going to get to the point where I can talk with people. I've got the alphabet down well, but still need help determining tones based on the way a word is written. That's why I'm asking here: is there anyone out there willing to meet up with me for maybe 1 hour a day, roughly 5 days (negotiable) per week for the next 4 weeks? I'll be in Chiang Mai tomorrow (8th) and want to make the most of my time. Obviously, discounts are accepted! PM me or reply to this thread...serious inquires only!
