Steven Seagal sued for using assistant as "sex toy"

LOS ANGELES: -- A former assistant to actor Steven Seagal has sued the action movie star for sexual harassment, claiming that he used her and other employees as "sex toys," CBS News reported Wednesday.

Kayden Nguyen, a 23-year-old former model, claimed that she was hired by Seagal in February 2010 as an executive assistant at his production company, but rather than helping with the business, she was asked to give massages to Seagal alongside a naked Russian "attendant."

Nguyen claims she was attacked by Seagal over the course of six days at his Louisiana home where he was staying with his family.

"I'm a family man, and I live with my wife, but she wouldn't care if you were my lover," he allegedly told her.

Nguyen is suing Seagal for 1 million dollars alleging sexual harassment, illegal trafficking of females for sex, failure to prevent sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and false representation about employment.

Seagal's attorney, Martin Singer, rejected the allegations in a statement issued Wednesday.

"I am extremely confident this meritless lawsuit will be dismissed.

Ms Nguyen filed her lawsuit without even notifying Mr Seagal or his representatives of her alleged claims because she was aware that claims could be asserted against her based on her own conduct.

Her lawsuit is nothing more than a preemptive strike by a disgruntled ex-employee."//DPA

The law will decide.

But for dpa (they insist on using lower case for their title) to make the following statement is outrageous:

Her lawsuit is nothing more than a preemptive strike by a disgruntled ex-employee."//DPA

AND then there's this:

Ms Nguyen filed her lawsuit without even notifying Mr Seagal or his representatives of her alleged claims because she was aware that claims could be asserted against her based on her own conduct.

I'm speechless. What is her own conduct? What claims could be made against her? On what right does she have to file claims for damages without informing the defendant?

Phew. Now I'm going to fantasize about her conduct -- as any jury would do.
