Are all these gizmos truly necessary? Don’t they detract from safe driving? The so-called "must-have" safety equipment, apps, and gadgets seem to do little more than drive up costs. To the best of my judgment, they appear to have minimal impact on improving safety or reducing road fatalities, which remain unchanged or may even be getting worse. -

Tariffs should not be part of the immigration and border security equation. It looks like Trump is backing off his tariff hikes with Mexico after some vague assurances from the new Mexico President. Perhaps it was just a hollow threat. -

Controversy Over Trans Athlete Dominates Mountain West Volleyball Tournament
Yeah, it is kinda strange that this is only a one-way issue. Trans-women want to compete in womens's sports. Yet there are few/no examples of trans-men demanding to compete in mens' sports. Similarly, men are not up in arms or feeling unsafe if trans-men use their bathrooms or locker facilities. This leads me to believe that in the vast majority of cases, this is a psychological issue rather than a physiological one. So it should be treated as such- with therapy, not with sterilization and mutilation and amputation of perfectly healthy body parts. -
