I am in the process of completing my wifes UK settlement Visa. She works full time in a bakery but does not get payslips. To be honest I'm not sure if she should pay tax or if the owner of the bakery should pay tax/ have records of tax being payed for her wages. She only earns 140B for a days work but I thought it might help the decision to show she is working full time.

Do I declare that she is working on the visa application form or say she is unemployed and looks after her children full-time? Obviously I want to tell the truth as we have done in the rest of our application but for the sake of 140B a day and having her visa refused hopefully other members will understand my concerns.

Any body had visas refused because the applicant failed to provide payslips or proof of paying tax in Thailand?

Your wife is appying for settlement in the UK.

So you dont need to prove current income or job in Thailand for your wife.

Explain in your application she works in a bakery with an income of 140 baht a day.

You need to proove that once in the UK you can support her with out public funds.
