The online checklist for unmarried partners links to a page whose heading is "Settlement – Spouse/Civil Partner"

In that list it refers to "6. Marriage certificate / Civil Partnership registration (original + 1 photocopy)" which obviously we do not have as we are partners, not married or in a civil partnership.

Though pedantic I agree, as the form is not specific enough, the person receiving the information could not sign that all required documents were submitted simply because the form asks for things which do not exist. Now I know any rational being would simply scrub item 6. out but in the same vein, any rational person would have designed a form which related specifically to unmarried partners, designing one checklist for each category of visa, rather than taking a haphazard and slapdash approach and lazily just trying to make one checklist work for multiple visa types.
