New Version Of Thunderbird Relelased

The latest version of Thunderbird (Version 1.0.5) has been released and can be downloaded at http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ It is mis labelled as Verson 1.0 on that page but is in fact an update. Just download and install over the older version. Enjoy.

Thanks mouse, tried the check for updates version in my thunderbird, which dodn't work, so download and installed manually, but can't see any immediate difference, recently i have problems with pop3 connections to gmail, usually when an attachment is involved, but i think thats a gmail prob as its intermittant, however are there any major improvements to thsi version?

Sorry but it seems that this release is nothing but security patches of one sort or another.

But did you know that if cars improved at the rate of computers and programs in price and functionability then cars would fly, cost only $100 and be disposable.

or put another another way, if planes developed as fast as computers, you could fly from BKK to NY in 30 minutes for a cost of 500 baht and they would crash every other day
