Car In Sisaket

Recommended Posts

I arrived in sisaket yersterday and need some transport. I was thinking of hiring a car, but this seems impossible in Sisaket. I need to eventually buy a used motor so would not mind that option either. trouble is i can find any dealers. Any body have any ideas? I'm also looking to rent a house here but no luck with that either yet. Sooner i get all this sorted the sooner i can relax so any help would be gratefully recieved

Cheers

I have hired a car for a week, cost 1,300 a day, and I have had a look at a few pick ups now. I am looking at a 2001 ford ranger tomorrow for 180,000 seems a bit cheap as we have looked at another on same year same kinda spec (4 wheel drive four seater ) for 250,000 this one is mint though.

Thanks for the help

There are a number of used car dealers on rt 221 to Kantharalak. Also on rt226 going toward Kanthararom before you get to Tesco & Marko is a Chevy dealer. Sorry I can't help you w/ a place to rent. Don't know of any. But will ask my uncle-in-law tonight. HD

Thanks that would be great. I am looking at up to a max of 15 km out of town as I need to be at the school (in Sisaket town) at 7:30am (what a shock that was)

I can't really help you in Sisaket, but here in Ubon there are many used car dealerships.

I was able to buy a truck about a year ago. I hired one of the wife's cousins ( who is knowledable about trucks) to pose as a buyer.

After he found a truck (based on my requirements), I had him put down a deposit to buy the truck.

When it was time to buy the truck, I showed up with the money.

180,000 for a Mighty X original motor and excellent body.

I once drove it for 50 miles with the pick-up empty. On the way back, I must have loaded it

up by 300 kgs. Driving back it felt the same, there was no strain on the motor. The old Hi-lux's are not

necessary pretty, but they are a work-horse.

I'd recon to drive by the Mitsubishi dealer. It's on the way to Kantharalak, about 7 km out of town on the right hand side. You can always make a better deal telling them to pay cash. Beside, I'd really bring a car to Mitsubishi to get it checked, before you're even buying it.

Most old cars do have around 130,000 km on the clock but most of them are worn out.....I'll page you if I hear of a good car. Cheers- M.jap.gif

Brilliant....By the way I do already have a car. In fact I now live in the Roi-et area. As for directions to Sisaket...just follow the car that looks like it is being driven by a monkey and that should get you quite close. They have to be nearly at the top of the worse, most inconsiderate drivers on the planet list.
