Local Farang/Thai Social Groups?

Featured Replies

Hello,

My Thai girl friend and I have just move to Hua Hin, we've been living in Australia for the last couple of years, and we're wondering what social groups are about in Hua Hin / Cha Am. We're in to cycling and socializing.. Anyone got any suggestions?

Ta,

If the cycling indicates a broader fitness capability and you don't mind a bit if light running as a precursor/excuse for some local socialising then look up the hua hin and/or cha am hash house harriers. I have done it all over Thailand and the locals down where you are are a nice bunch.

The Hash House Harriers of Hua Hin and Cha-Am have two different clubs (although I think several people belong to both), the run/walk club and the biking club so maybe the biking club would be good for you as they offer regular biking events around the area. I know one of the organizers so if you want to be contacted by him with more info, PM me your email address and I will pass it to him.
