I know that none of us have illegal copies of Windows running on our computers. But, sometimes there are "glitches" that won't allow your pc to obtain the neccesary critical updates from Microsoft. As of June 26, 2005 Microsoft has taken steps to protect their product against piracy. To make a long story short, if you need these updates, or want to find if you need them, this website will scan your computer and install the Microsoft critical updates and patches for you. Don't use I.E. This is for Firefox, Mozilla, and Opera users only. A plug-in is required.

Microsoft "Genuine Advantage" cracked in 24h: window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all'

AV sez, "This week, Microsoft started requiring users to verifiy their serial number before using Windows Update. This effort to force users to either buy XP or tell them where you got the illegal copy is called 'Genuine Advantage.' It was cracked within 24 hours."

Before pressing 'Custom' or 'Express' buttons paste this text to the address bar and press enter:

java script:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')

It turns off the trigger for the key check.

Yes, thanks for the link. fyi, if using Firefox it may stop you from installing the software automatically until you add it to the "allow" list. However you can just copy the plugin directly to your disk and install it later by downloading the file directly from here: Just right click and save file as.
