Motorcyclists In Pattaya Gold Shop Heist

PATTAYA: -- Two motorcyclists robbed a Banglamung goldsmith’s of Bt500,000’s worth of gold jewellery at gunpoint, before escaping. Crucial CCTV cameras were turned off, leaving only eye-witnesses to identify the culprits.

Pattaya, 31 October 2010, [PDN]: the Por Srisuwan gold shop in Banglamung was subjected to a daring daylight robbery by two motorcyclists who stole jewellery to the value of half a million baht, earlier today, Oct31. The family-run business had been opened at 9am by the co-owner, Mrs. Rerai Chatraksa [43], whilst her husband and four children remained upstairs. Shortly after, two relatively tall men approached on a red-n-white Honda Click and parked nearby, the tallest entering the shop in the presence of shopping.

Two men wanted following Pattaya Gold Shop robbery

PATTAYA: -- A gold Shop robbery took place in Jomtien on Sunday Morning which has now turned into a nationwide man-hunt for two suspects. Police were called to the Por Srisuwan Gold Shop in Soi Chaypreuk 2 on Sunday Morning by the owner, Khun Rayrai aged 43. She was in the shop alone at the time when the two men pulled up on a motorbike. One of the men entered the shop, while the second man made sure the front door, which locks automatically when closed, remained open.

No cctv because:

Crucial CCTV cameras were turned off, leaving only eye-witnesses to identify the culprits.

Question begs, were they turned off at the end of the previous business day, or did the perps have the CCTV's turned off, I wonder?

Suspect gives himself up to Police following recent Jomtien Gold Shop robbery

PATTAYA: -- One of two suspects wanted in connection with the recent Gold Shop robbery in Jomtien has given himself up at Banglamung Police Station, despite him denying any involvement in the case. Khun Boonliem aged 35, the owner of a motorbike thought to have been used during the robbery gave himself at Banglamung Police Station to Police Colonel Tirapong, Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police.

Two Out Of Three Pattaya Gold Shop Robbers Successfully Apprehended

PATTAYA: Police have now apprehended two of the three motorcyclist-thieves that robbed the Por Srisuwan gold shop of jewellery to the tune of Bt500,000 on Oct31. The accomplices were tracked down from one of their motorbike’s registration number, given by a key witness.

November 8, 2010, [PDN]: The trio responsible for robbing Por Srisuwan gold shop were finally tracked down to Udon Thani. Police swooped on the home of one Woraphong Nonthachai [24], where the suspect confessed. He told police team leader, Pol.Col. Somnuk Janket,
