Cha Am Beach ?

Could anybody tell me what has happened to the deck chairs and tables on Cha am beach ,

My friends were there last week , and they said all the tables and chairs had gone ,

is this a permanent thing, sort of bring your own now.

Was it on a Wednesday by any chance? They put away the chairs and umbrellas on Wednesdays (cleaning day, I suppose).

They removed all the beach furniture on the Wednesday that I was there.

They did empty the garbage cans, but did not clean the beach.

Everything on the beach is removed every Wednesday, the beach is then cleaned.

On your next visit to Cha Am let the Cha Am Tessa Baan know that you are going to Cha Am, I am sure they will stop all activities so they do not inconvenience you and your family.

A free day on the beach without all the usual clutter and hawking sounds peaceful. Shops and restaurants on the other side of beach road all remain open too, so not far to walk for refreshments. Was the hardship really that great?
