Ianatlarge
I have been wanting to visit Prasat Preah Vihear for the last four years, but the ongoing conflict has always prevented me. However, a delightful Thai lady from Sisaket has told me now that things are all quiet on the border, thanks to Ms Thaksin. Does anyone have any info on this? Is it possible to cross into the temple from Sisaket and have a look around, without getting my ass shot off? Thanks for any assistance.
Patronus
If Mrs Thaksin say sit is OK, it must be OK. You can trust the new government 100%. Well worth the visit if you do get there.
SantiSuk
Things are much quieter and it's unlikely you'll get your proverbial shot off, but it's still just the National Park that's open I think. Send PM to TV member, Bergen, who lives closer than I do. [Kantaralak member]
