F** me not one reply ok Ill answer it myself

1. get to CENTRAL BANGNA outside BIG C buses go to Cambodia on a "gambling tour" cost 200 baht return start at 6.30 am or at leats the bus I got on did. Alternitavley pay the "all in guys" about 1900 baht which aint bad as 1000 of that is fees

2. Arrive at Poipet about 9-30 am border entrance not so clearly marked and touts will point you away from the border entrance in an attempt to "help" you by saying they can do it all for you for 600 baht, (not necessary) ignore the <deleted>*****s

3 Wait in queue for about 20 minutes

4 Get stamped out of Thailand into NO MANS LAND between Cambodia and Thailand.

5 Again not clear and no real directions bit of a shambles stroll over to on the right to the CAMBODIAN OFFICES and fill in a VISA ON ARRIVAL form ( actually the man did it for me) pay 800 baht only as Farang

6 again not at all clear and why the f*** they dont keep it all in one building I dont know stroll up the road to another office where you need to get another entry ticket to fill out get all your fingerprints taken and you will be stamped into cambodia pay 100 baht

If you dont want to go into Cambodia you can hang around in no mans land and go to the casinos or the border guy will just stamp you IN and OUT at the same time and you will save 100 baht but then cant enter Cambodia.

Question is if I got stamped out of Thailand and then just came straight back round to re enter Thailand could I have done that and saved another 100 + 800 baht fpr voa??? Do I really need to get a Cambodian VISA ON ARRIVAL could I just go into no mans land and out again

back to thailand???? anyone know?

What they dont tell you is you need a few bits of paperwork which would be FINE if they actually left them on the wall in box with some pens or something instead they are in an old desk in a drawer and if the man isnt there top get one out for you God knows how your'e supposed to find them.

On re enetering Thailand you need a new arrival departure card again not available to be picked up, a man will approach you and hand you one IF he sees you, dunno why they cant leave them all out in a box to help yourself, what are they like gold dust or something?

I found it a bit of a shambles and impossible to tell if anyone is a REAL official or some scam pratt.

Easy when you have done it once plain confusing the first time.

I have posted a perfectly acceptable DIY plan for a border hop. I have also made numerous comments on others posts in this regard. You obviously did not search the site.

It would appear that you still have much confusion about the run that I am sure a few more DIYs will clear up just fine. The run is very straightforward these days and if there is any confusion it is due only to yourself. The run these days is near idiot proof.

If you just want to do a visa run, use a visa-run company. You'll be taken care of.

If you want to enter Cambodia, I suggest to get an eVisa online. Must less hassle to get a visa at the border, which of course is possible too.

In another thread, which is active now, it has already been discussed that you will have to enter Cambodia and not just walk around the Thai immigration booth via no-mans-land.

Well there you go INFACT you dont have to set one foot inside Cambodia AT ALL as the immgration man at the Cambodian border said he would stamp me in and out at the same time for 100 baht instead of me being stamped in for 100 baht and then later out for 100 baht, it meant i couild not go into Cambodia but could wander round no mans land and then back into Thailand

E Visa is more expensive I think?

Do you not think it would be more acceptable to have all the forms stuck on the wall in abox so people could just go to the board and take one out and fill it in instead of being HIDDEN in a drawer in a table which is great when the man who is supposed to be handing them out ISNT there? Thats what happened when I arrived.

So then, why did you open a second thread, I wonder.

Kindly note that both your caps lock key and your question mark key seem to get stuck sometimes.

Indeed, so this one is closed.

Please do not post multiple threads across the forum asking essentially the same question.
