Last year saw one of those big mortars fall over and explode in a bar. Actually I think it was the wrong way up. I want to come back home in one piece. I would defiantly recommend a view of the bay at Midnight, trouble is you will have people letting off fireworks from just about any part of the beach. Would think the Beer Garden must be one of the best spots, but expect it would be rammed, don't know if they do anything special for new years maybe tickets?
