Pattaya Memorial Hospital Outpatient Clinic is very near you...Pattaya Klang and 2nd Road...hidden behind the main streets. I think the cost is 450 baht when I do it. I have mine read every month, and also check in with an internist for blood testing and anything else that comes up....total 1200 baht total. I don't know if you can utilize their lab only...you could check.

A Do-It-Yourself Option is the Lifecare Laboratory Pattaya. The last price sheet I have shows 400 baht. You can go in, and get the reading, without a doctor involved. The address is 247/59 Moo 10 Pattaya 3rd Road, South Pattaya. It's just off of 3rd Road near the Diamond Badminton Building. The number is 038-488-048. They have some nice packages that are very reasonable as well.

I went to this same clinic to check INR and thought highly of the service but the test results differed dramatically from BKK/Pattaya test results....makes you wonder!

Many factors can effect your INR reading. If you changed your diet and start to eat more "leafy greens" your number will go up

But difference in test results is why I insist on using a lab that gives me the results instantly so I can see the numbers on the machine, not later on by email

You also might try getting the test done at about the same time of the day

While I can’t possibly comment on your apparent blood test discrepancies, I can say that I have frequent blood tests undertaken , including INR, (usually weekly) , mostly at the lab in Naklua , but occasionally at Bangkok Pattaya hospital, and the results are all compatible with each other.

The specialists at BPH are quite happy with the tests I have done with the external lab and there has never been any suggestion that they might be inaccurate. I doubt if he could stay in business too long if his results weren’t up to par – it’s too important.

Bear in mind that blood tests can vary from day to day and even hour to hour, depending on the current state of your body, vis a vis food, amount of sleep, alcohol, and also what meds have or haven’t been taken.

As Langsuan Man says, INR results are particularly variable, which is why you need to check them frequently and adjust your meds accordingly.
