Air Card/ Gprs Connection / Ais Evolution Sim

I have a Sony Ericsson air card, with an AIS Evolution Sim - how can I connect to the internet with a reasonable connection?

If I use the Sony software I get 9600 KBS, and everything times out before I can see it.

Does anybody know the stages for setting up an internet connection?

Do I still need to buy a pay as you go internet card?

GC89? GC83? which sony ericsson aircard?

Have u tested it in Los? and if yes where?

The best solution in Bangkok-only seems DTAC EDGE, just look to :

I have a GC-75. I live in Chiang Mai. I can get a GPRS signal, but I can't connect to CSLOXINFO with it.

Thanks
