DGD1
I have been trying to find where to download or at least find out the names (song, artist, etc.) of some of the Thai music you'd hear being blasted during songkran or at most go-go's to no avail. Can't get anything out of any Thai's I know (maybe they want to hold on to the one thing foreigner's haven't weasled into??), so wondering if anyone can name some of the more popular bar music artists or at least a site that has it. A great example is the song I used in a video I made, skip to after half way thru the first one. Thanks for any help. wellred
I would maybe try some of the markets. Or better yet ask a gogo dj to make you a CD.
DGD1
I would, but I live in the States. Planning on a move over for a year though out of sheer boredom so maybe I will do that.
DGD1
Anyone else have suggestions? C'mon we all love that shit. Don't lie...where's it at?
wellred
You can probably try some online retailers. I picked up a few dance mix CDs from tesco lotus and found they were also on iTunes.
ChinChanGamble
Check out 'valentine concert Thailand' on youtube, you may get the names of the songs your looking for from that, you'll certainly get what your looking for anyway

Ajaan
Haha...you actually want to pay money for that crap? Okay, to each his own. Go to "DJ Siam" CD store in Siam Square. They've got it all...including the Thai pop sub-genre called "Indy," some of which is actually tolerable...
