SurinBeach
Hi, My Bangkok purchased Wii stopped reading any game discs and the kids have LOTS ! Took it into TescoLotus Bypass Road (shop outside Homepro) to be fixed saying I thought it was the reader/laser. Got it home two weeks later after being informed by the TescoLotus guy told it had previously upgraded itself after being connected to the internet so he had reloaded the software including Homebrew and USB Loader for 1000thb. Guess I should have checked it in the shop .... And now once again it reads no discs.... Have tried disk drives and thumb drives using WBFS Manager 3.0 to no avail... So I guess my questions are .....is there anywhere I can get it fixed IN Phuket or has anyone had any joy with USB games ? Many thanks from my kids SB..... hansgruber
Big C has a few games shops that do repairs. Right near the food court.
Jimi007
Fixing electronic devices is usually a waste of time IMO, unless you can do it yourself or it's under warranty. Might be time to get a new one, if they are even still available...
Shot
The thread title is a bit misleading. I was thinking any pharmacy would have the blue pills. However, in this case, Big C has a few shops that can help.
SurinBeach
Strange I popped into Big C a month ago and the usual Wii shop had gone, maybe I'll pop back for another look.....

fiddlehead
If you cannot get it fixed, don't throw it out just yet. I have one that has problems and my son is always asking me to fix it. I believe (but not sure) that the problem with ours is the long skinny black piece that goes above or below the TV screen that reads the signal from the handheld device. So, if you get a new one, I would buy that piece from you. PM me if interested.

I buy my games at play-asia.com and sometimes they get through with no duty or sometimes double the games worth. Its a lottery so be prepared.
