It is amusing that they think anyone is buying this stuff any more.

Not an iota of credibility left.

Maybe he missed the cabinetmeeting and the photosession because he was at an AA meeting.

Possible, or he was the guy arrested yesterday who thought he was a Superhero saving Thailand from Aliens.

Well of course "He" could be 'The Brown Bottle' it all makes sense now!

Ahhh what a joy to see Chalerm twisting in the wind. This may be the only intelligent thing I have ever seen the Yingluck government do. And his spit the dummy routine is absolutely priceless, a classic case of showing his true colors.

I also believe that imbuing him with power by saying he knows where the dirt is buried is not exactly correct. I am pretty sure he has lots of skeletons rattling around in his own closet, so that would be sure to keep his mouth closed regarding the malfeasance of other members of the government.

UPDATE:
Chalerm 'unhappy' as Cabinet jobs allocated
The Nation

File photo : Chalerm

BANGKOK: -- Former foreign minister Surapong Towichakchaikul remains the top deputy premier in the fifth Yingluck Cabinet, while Kittiratt Na-Ranong has been appointed Deputy PM number five.

PM Yingluck Shinawatra yesterday rejected talk that new Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung was unhappy with his change of position, denying any dispute between her and Chalerm.

However, Pheu Thai MP Anan Sriphan, who is close to Chalerm, said yesterday the former deputy PM was unhappy with the latest change, as he had been "demoted". However, he did not think Chalerm would resign soon, as speculated.

The Cabinet met yesterday to distribute work and responsibility among seven newly-appointed deputies for the Prime Minister, who will work in her capacity when she cannot carry out her PM duties.

They are: Surapong, Niwatthamrong Boonsong-paisal, Pracha Promnok, Plodprasop Suraswadi, Kitti-ratt, Pongthep Thepkanchana and Yukol Limlaemthong.

Yingluck oversees the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Public Relations Department, the PM's Secretary General, Secretariat of the Cabinet, Royal Development Projects Board, National Economic and Social Development Board, His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary, the Council of State, the Royal Household Bureau and Internal Security Operations Command.

Surapong oversees the Foreign Ministry, the ICT and Science and Technology ministries, and the National Research Council of Thailand.

Niwatthamrong oversees the Commerce Ministry, Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry (Rice and Agricultural Promotion only) and the National Economic and Social Advisory Council.

Pracha oversees the Defence Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Justice Ministry, the National Security Council, the National Intelligence Agency, the Royal Thai Police and the Southern Border Provinces Administration Centre.

Plodprasop oversees the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, and the Labour Ministry.

Kittiratt oversees the Finance Ministry, the Transport Ministry, the Industry Ministry and the Budget Bureau (except approving the budget).

Phongthep oversees ministries for Social Development and Human Security, Energy, Culture, Education, Public Health, the Consumer Protection Board, the Civil Service Commission, the Public Sector Development Commission. He also has authority to endorse a prosecution indictment against the PM in cases related to her administration.

Please Yingluck, if you have any balls at all, do not give this oxygen thief the satisfaction of resigning, sack him from the party immediately. Display some Leadership. This guy would have lasted nano seconds if he did this in the UK or the States.

gl555

That's about as well as anyone could have said it!

Spot On. They must have known that demotion would cause the same reaction so why give him any room to maneouvre ? He's still a minister and will address the media as such and we know he will take every opportunity to speak on any subject and he does so as a member of the cabinet.

If he continues to embarrass it would be easier to write him off as a malcontent angry at not getting his way rather than having to deal with him as a minister.

One for every day of the week. clap2.gif

That means Chalerm only gets to make a stupid comment once a week.

So sister on the No. 1 seat, cousin on No. 2. Older sister behind the curtain with the backdoor dealings and of course Dear Leader directing everything from afar.

Keeping all in the family, eh?

Flowing along nicely for the time being but when fulfilling two roles 'unexpectedly' becomes too burdensome for little sis, big sis may be forced to poke her head out from left of stage and say 'nong, which one do you need me to take on, PM or Defence?'

3 puppets at once is tricky. Right hand for Yingluk, left hand for Surapong - which appendage will he use for Yaowapa?

The tears of a clown, when there's no-one around......................

Chalerm, here's the gig. You tout the line that you are looking out for the poor and working class and when PM Yingluck honours you with a post to take care of the poor masses, instead of rising to the task and shining, you cry and pout like a 3 year old. You want to soar with the eagles but you are swimming with sharks dude. Sometimes when they get hungry they will just bite.

kharma's a bitch man...better get to those good deeds for all the evil you have done. You and your son have a lot of repenting to do. Probably come back in next life as a dung beetle, although that would be a little too dignified for you because they actually do something useful.

The loose cannon that is Chalerm should have been better looked after by his master. With his emotions running so high, in a drunken rage he might well be on the cusp of inadvertently detailing how it was that Thaksin was granted all those 20 year concessions for pay TV, and telecoms back in the Choonhavan era when Chalerm was interior minister. Surely his secrets were the reason he was put in the deputy PM position because it certainly wasn't due to his abilities.

Things could get very interesting.

I agree my friend, he had no qualifications to be a PM. He was given the previous position because he has "dirt" on many in power. His only wealth is from "massage parlors" and what come with that

It's catching up with him. Sooner or later, we knew he'd have to face consequences for all of the bad behavior and treatment of others.

Slow and agonizing decline is appropriate for a sissy who has ruined the lives of many over time.

The bottom line was that he was (or is) not a public servant; but a self-serving drunkard.

I don't think he is one of the seven. So he misses out on making stupid comments all together, Except I don't think that will stop him.

Gosh how unfair to mention a medical disability inflicted on such a lovely and charismatic Guy - shame on you all!! I do hope the pediatrician can help and I feel he should be permanently excused such arduous duties as attending those tedious Cabinet Meetings with the adults. He has after all kept us amazed and in good humour for quite some time now.wai.gif
