I would assume it equals the police gunmen who have been harrassing the protesters nightly... His words are dangerous, a bit Pol Potish; reminds me of the little fat boy from North Korea. He does not want to adopt a democratic process, his way or the highway. Sounds like a drunken salior. They would need to be educated before they could be re-educated. The difference is that the north korean leader is elected. Which makes him the the legitimate leader and he can do what ever he wants, at least that's how the PT sees democracy. It's good to see the farmers waking up to what a PT government does for them. They take your rice, keep your money, and give you empty promises. Yingluck doesn't have the courage to meet with her own supporters face to face, or even to show up to court in person. As for Mr T I pity the fool who still trusts him. North Korea are show elections or veto type elections. Have a read of Justice Michael Kirby's recent report on North Korea; could enlighten your world view. Mr A Hitler was elected by his country. Its Sutheps rehtoric that sounds bombastic. Were will he end; what are his real motives. Sutheps speeches are a bit like an onion being peeled; you only get to hear what he wants a little at a time. I saw an article in the Nation that talked about the farming type that were not educated and could not make rash decisions on the future of Thailand; therefore their votes should not count. Local Drunk Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 What you say is correct, bluenosecodger, but as a key Western ally in South East Asia, Thailand gets a pass on all these kind of extrajudicial killings and the like. Tak Bai, the war on drugs, 1992, 1976, the massacre and rape of Khmer refugees, Rohingyas towed out to sea, etc. I don't think USA and EU views any Suthep government as a key ally and given his boys protests outside the US embassy he's really blown that one too: BANGKOK: -- The Student and People’s Network for the Reform of Thailand will protest at the US Embassy today for what its leaders said was the interference in the Thai internal affairs over its support for the caretaker government to hold the February 2 general elections.
