Yingluck has never participated in a debate. I find it peculiar that someone can become the prime minister of Thailand without even having to debate in her entire life. This is part of the normal selection process of all prime ministers and presidents in western countries. And how else can the people make an informed decision?

But she has wisely avoided debates simply cause she knows that someone like Abhisit would tear her apart and expose her for a moron she really is. She knows Abhisit is smarter and more articulate.

Lead a country: certainly not. Even in this situation she rather hides behind empty phrases and FB posts than take decisive action. Amnesty Bill and Rice-pledging scheme (under her leadership) are also excellent examples of her prowess.

Protect democracy: Since when is there any democracy here? Rule of power and money can't be called that. Or else there would've been a lot of people in jail since 2006 already - both sides. So, that's a no too.

Protect the people: Apparently selectively...because last time I've checked there are still various people dying during the protests....so, NO

Defend democracy: Not sure how this is different to no. 2....in any case...to keep repeating "We have to respect the democratic way." doesn't mean you're actually defending it....

Maybe try another 4 then...

You, don't need to try to lure me into the educated / uneducated question either. You seem to be getting more and more stressed at this point.

Tha politics needs drastic reform, and democracy is not just through an election, although simpletons seem to think that it is. So lets make it clear, for democracy to work there has to be the right conditions for it. A number if changes need to be made, so farcical scenarios where a banned politician puts a proxy in for 5 years, then replaces them after 5 years, as they've also been banned for electoral fraud. I believe it might have been from one of your heroes family.

Not surprising with the pre-conditions Suthep imposed.

with respect, these kinds of pre-conditions are the same as when she offers dialog "End the protests, then we can talk"

With respect, Suthep is insisting that she agrees to take no further part in government, and there can be no talk of elections.

Yingluck is asking that he allows the election to proceed, and halts the protests.

Bit of a difference there?

She also points out that she alone cannot speak for all the Thai people. Suthep assumes that he alone speaks for the Thai people!
