Look at the latest incidents. Did those victims provoke anyone? In the end got shoot down.

In a session of voicing different opinions,
debaters will shoot their opponents down with their eloquent words.
the red side will express their uniquely gesture by shooting their opponents down with their adorable bullets.
Chalerm: Not worried about violence during red rally.
Yes there will be no violence. We know how peaceful are the red shirts people.

If 200,000 are coming from the North-East, that's 200,000 x 500 Baht (at least) = 100 million Baht + expenses. Who's funding this, I wonder?

Two solutions :

- Taxpayer

- or there are only 20.000 reds coming

Why do they elevate the port-o-sans like that? Why don't they just put them all on ground level like everywhere else in the world?

was thinking the same thing. Trying to squeeze your butt cheeks together and climbing a ladder at the same time.

And apparently no fence or barrier opposite the Portaloos themselves - leaving a 5 or 6 foot drop to ground level as the Thais form their usual orderly queues.

Just hope the yellows don't provoke then or it could get nasty. Nice to see that Chalerm has assigned a detail to protect Sutheps residence now say thank you by keeping your people away from the reds.

The Yellow's will provoke once more and then blame the Reds.

Thank God you´r not my mentor.

No need to make up stories dude. Search for political violence in Thailand on Youtube or just with Google and in 90% of the time it involves reds.

He should look at this video.

Bangkok on alert as confrontation looms

aksa-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Bangkok is placed on full alert with several thousand of police and military personnel deployed to prevent confrontation when anti-government protesters and pro-government supporters planned mass rallies tomorrow.

Spokesperson of the Center for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) Sirima Sunawin said National police deputy commissioner f Pol Gen Worapong Chewpreecha will be in charge of security measures.

Gen Worapong will meet with police and military personnel to assess the situation and assign government forces to maintain public order.

The red-shirt pro-government United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), led by Jatuporn Prompan, plans a rally of red shirt supporters on Aksa Road in Buddhamonthon Sai 4 on the outskirts of Bangkok.

The anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), led by Suthep Thaugsuban, will meet with leaders of their movement nationwide to map out the next move to achieve their objective of national reform before a general election.

CAPO spokesman Sirima advised the public not to join either the UDD or PDRC activities to avoid violence.

Ms Sirima said CAPO was disappointed with the Constitution Court’s dismissal of its petition to order the PDRC activities as unlawful following its attempt to remove the caretaker government.

CAPO disagreed with the court’s ruling and feels sorry for Thai people who can no longer rely on the Constitution Court as a peace-keeping mechanism, she said.

PDRC leader Suthep pledged that the mass rally Saturday will be peaceful and all protesters have been advised to stay only at Lumpini partk and will not go out to the streets and march to anywhere.

The rally tomorrow will mean to send a final signal to the caretaker prime minister to step down to pave the way for reform before going to the poll.

He expected several millions of anti-government protesters to show up both in Bangkok and the provinces to oppose the caretaker prime minister.

He said Ms Yingluck must resign now to prevent further damages she will inflict on the country if she stubbornly stays on in office.

And the Thai people wonder why they can no longer rely on the police as the supposed peacekeeping organisation.

This is just mind-boggling! Is that the duty of the CC? I thought it's to uphold the law, specifically the constitution.

Totally agree. As long as there are yellows the red-shirts will feel provoked. That's why Dr. weng talked about eradicating Democrats and Ms. thida upped the ante with her 'time to wipe out reactionairs'. Even the new UDD head Jatuporn talks about "we'll show them".

Then of course Ko Tee said:

"I want there to be lots of violence to put an end to all this," he said. "I'm bored by speeches. It's time to clean the country, to get rid of the elite, all of them."

All this is massively expensive. It must be costing millions of baht.

The Reds shirts are meant to represent the poorest people in Thailand. The UDD don't sell advertising and have zero income etc... Their weapons are not cheap and the entire movement must cost in excess of billions per year....

So where is all this money coming from?????

It is about time that these people were audited to find out who is actually funding this terrorism and have their assets frozen.

Three major suspected income streams.

Thaksin.

Taxpayer via corrupt rice scheme etc.

Capo budget.

My personal opinion.

Still don't understand the need to elevate the toilets. Anyone?

Its so the red shirts dont hurt their backs bending over to pick the turds up to throw a people, along with the blood, grenades, petrols etc they are so very fond of throwing when they get a weekend away in the "big smoke"

One simply attaches a plastic bag to the discharge pipe of the elevated dunnies...turd bomb done....and Thaksin's your uncle

I thank ye kindly gentlemen. (Mssrs Soutpeel and dcutman)

"So simple, it plum evaded me."

It's a pity really that the UDD gathers in Nakhom Pathom. The now on hold Bangkok governor would have provided decent facilities if only they'd gather in Bangkok. Some have it he's notorious for helping anti-government protesters (like late 2013 and during the fun in 2010), but even pro-government protesters can count on him.thumbsup.gif

No, no, no!

Thai call each other buffalo when having an argument and the other is seen as dense. That's independent of which part of Thailand the other is coming from by the way.

Yes, The Reds Shirts ND Chalerm have a track record of peace, honesty and law and order. Back to history lessons for you.

The reds have a history of violence so I think you should be the one going back to history lessons.

I think you will find mr toad was being sarcastic.

If all attendees are searched so that not even a box of matches is taken, then all should be well.

There's some confusion around this year. Are they all meant to be bringing their own 1 litre bottles of petrol this year, or has Chalerm organized this to be collected on site?

When they get tired of threatening to burn Bangkok down to the ground, they can all have another good laugh about bombs killing children. Reds will be reds.
