PATTAYA: -- The driver of a Minivan, transporting Indian tourists from Suvanarbumi Airport in Bangkok to Rayong Province, is thought to have fallen asleep at the wheel causing his Minivan to come off the road and flip onto its side, injuring all seven Indian passengers and injuring the driver as well.

The accident occurred on Highway 36 at 3pm on Tuesday. The truck driver, Khun Virat, sustained a broken leg and a head injury and is suspected of falling asleep at the wheel, according to the Indian passengers, who had been picked-up from the airport and were preparing to start their holiday in Thailand.

The truck, without notice, veered off the main carriageway and flipped onto its side and came to rest in the central reservation. The tourists sustained relatively minor injuries with the minivan driver coming off the worst.

Minivans. Extreme sports Thai style. Almost kipped over when doing a visa run to Cambodia, the driver cut a corner at around 80kph and banged the wheels on the top of the curb. Scary shit. Never again.

I hate it when they tailgate the guy in front and at the same time talk on their mobile phone
