Hi

I have a late 90s Vitara 16v built in Japan for here in Thailand.

I am increasingly getting a problem with the blower and windows not working.
When i waggle the ignition switch anticlockwise a bit I get them going but it's getting to be a bore happens about 50% the time and i don't notice until I'm getting too hot.

My question is:
Is the switch for these two circuits (and there may be others not working) incorporated directly with the ignition switch....meaning a major part buy......or is it a separate switch which happens to be turned by the ignition key barrel which might be cheaply replaced?

Thanks

Without knowing the car and/or having a wiring it would be very hard to know.

Ignition barrels shouldn't be expensive.

You could take the steering coloum off first though to see if it is just the wires needing resoldering or a new connector (spade?).
