rachit14nov Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Hi, We are 3 friends and planning for a trip to phuket form 17th july to 20th july. how many days shall we plan for phuket and how many for krabi or phi phi. how is the night life in phi phi or krabi? can we plan like. 17th - 19th in phuket and leaving for phi phi on 19th and krabi on 20th and then flight from krabi? we want to experience scuba diving too. WhizBang Posted July 1, 2015 Share Posted July 1, 2015 No night life in Krabi, to speak of, anyway. If you have only 3 days, only do ONE spot. Or as mentioned, do a day trip to phi phi. This is also ( ) the rainy season, so the ocean can be somewhat unpredictable and you are likely to find many resorts/dive operators shut down until before high season starts. I personally would stay on phi phi for the duration as despite talk of it being ruined it is still very beautiful away from the main resort, so you can tAke boat trips around the island for the sheer beauty, to snorkel And scuba. You don't have enough time to do Phuket and dive Phi Phi to be honest. The best you could do is 17th Arrive in Phuket 18th One day exploring Phuket 19th Day trip to Maya Bay, Phi Phi (Lei and Don), Koh Khai 20th Depart Phuket Maybe do a trip when you have more time? I recently did AO Nang > Patong > Phi Phi > Railay> AO Nang loop over 16 days and it wasn't really long enough. But the OP is in a really tight schedule, and has to set priorities. He wants to see Phi Phi and do diving, that will take one day each, leaving virtually no time for anything else. If OP decides to stay on Phi Phi there is a lot (relative to his stay) of travel time involved in that, so IMO the only option is daytrips from Phuket.
