One Way Ticket

I (German citizen) intend to go to Bangkok by one way ticket in December. Do you think there will be any problems (maybe because of the new regulations)? I was never asked to show a return ticket, when I entered LOS via Bangkok International airport.

I am married to a Thai and will have a proper visa: non immigrant with multiple entries.

Do you think it's better to book a return flight? It's a question of money, because I intend to stay longer in LOS.

As long as you have a visa there should not be any problem.

Mind you might easily have trouble with the airline refusing to let you board until you sign a waiver saying you'll pay your return fare if refused access to Thailand etc etc.

Make sure you have a credit card as well, if you do get megga problems then you can always buy a ticket from Bangkok, and then cash it in when you get to Bangkok. I've never had to buy a ticket but have often had to sign a waiver.

That is the problem with asking airline checkin staff to act as immigration officers for every country in the world.

There should be no problem with the airlines or immigration period. He has a visa and does not need a return ticket. He also has the option to extend his stay in Thailand and never leave.
