Thanks It might be more economical buying a new electric razor. If your battery has 'died' within the first year then it is under guarantee. (Free replacement). I have used Philips for years, but they only last 18 months. The battery goes, the blades are blunt, and the motors ail. If that is the case: throw it out and buy a new one.
