Option 1 Maxnet Trouble

Featured Replies

Dear Forum,

How are you?

I have lived in Thailand four months, and have been surprised by the bad service I have got from TT&T maxnet. Equally in general I cannot see how a country such as Thailand could actually accept such an infrastructural weakness as the way their information superhighway is.

I have taken a number of opportunities to advise people away from using TT&T in my area through Thai Visa. I received the following email after writing and asking for a refund:-

Dear Mr. William

Thank you for choosing Maxnet as your Broadband connection.

We have been informed from TTTonline.net regarding your problem report, and please be apologized for trouble you had experienced with.

From the record, we agree to compensate your downtime for half a month, which will be deducted on the next bill.

Thank you and best regards,

I have not included the individual’s name as I haven’t asked permission to post this.

I have had problems since August 25 in which more than two weeks I have had no internet through TT&T. The rest of that time I was unable to use TT&T in the evenings so I am not fully compensated but it is a gesture.

Sadly the service had not been connected up when I moved house on Sunday, and I have to now ask them to connect again in my new house as I am forced on a year’s contract to continue with them.

Hope you are keeping well,

All the Best

Bill Z
