Computer Science Teaching Job

Hi guys,

I might have an opportunity I can’t refuse and might have to leave my teaching post at an international school before the end of the school year.

I teach computer design and applications, as well as journalism, to high school students in English:

• New Media: Teach website design and production, including HTML code, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Fireworks and website maintenance.

• Traditional Media: Teach Pagemaker and supervise pre-press and printing of school newspaper and yearbook. Teach basic and advanced journalism.

• Additional instruction such as basic programming and SQL would be good.

I won’t know until December how things are going to play out, but in case I have to leave I would like to have a replacement ready so the kids aren’t left in the lurch. A teaching certificate would be a great advantage to any candidate.

The job includes a good salary, work permit, year’s visa, medical and dental insurance.
