I just read an article about people being confused by emails that look like gibberish. It turns out that when you mark these as SPAM, some code in the gibberish tells the sender that your email address is good as well as poisoning your SPAM filter. It looks like you would be better off to delete this type of email rather than mark it SPAM. Bastards! :o

:D Does this apply to free web based emails or the ones from ISPs or both? :o

It's really hard to tell because the adresses are strange too. As far as the ones I have received none have been from Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail.
