However, on looking at the photos on google of Koh Lipe I see only revolting concrete buildings for rich people. Did they build all those simple huts specially for the movie? Of course there are nicer looking resorts, nicer looking bungalows built that cost more but nothing that 'ruins the island' (wish I'd copyrighted that phrase in the 90s!
