Well, alcohol isn't exactly a chemical made by man.  But I get your point, and would like to agree but can't now that you brought one of the mystical Sky Gods into it.

Ethanol has the chemical formula:CH3-CH2-OH ...so it might qualify as being a bit chemically & ethanol is made as a result of refinement and processing.

 

Marijuana on the other hand grows wild and requires almost no refinement or processing before using ...hence it's way more natural.

If he'd said lager, that's manufactured beer, full of additives and chemicals hence the awful hangover you don't get with natural beer (or weed). But most people aren't ordering fine Trappist ales every time they get drunk, they're expensive especially imported in Thailand

It doesnt mean a sxxxt . It's still not good for your brain. You will lose brain cells a lot faster . Stay drug free .

Well the first two link to the studies. If you have an issue with 'new scientist' the article links to the source - http://www.jci.org/articles/view/25509

Then the healthland ones mentions the institutions or universities that conducted the studies. 

 

Then the NCBI links, doesn't get more scientific than that.

Who said it was good for your brain or even mentioned brain cells? 

 

I was replying to a post that claimed alcohol was neither man made nor a chemical.

 

I did not give any opinion on it's side effects or relative harm when compared to alcohol ...which by the way is a lot less than alcohol.

 

But, I'm wondering if you give lectures and present one sided evidence when you see people for eg drinking or discussing beer...even though it's proven to be far more harmful?

 

Given the way you misread my post & your weak counter point to a non existent argument, I would worry more about your own brain cells and less about other people's.
