Air Smiles
Serious topic... Turnips are not easy to find in Thailand and very expensive when I have seen them on sale. Does anyone think I will have any issues at immigration if they search my bag and find a couple of Turnips? I will also have some Viagra and Cialis in my hold luggage but will be changing planes in Dubai. Will I have any issues if they happen(unlikely I know but the penalties are crazy if you get it wrong) to open my bag and find this medication? I will be buying online from a reputable UK pharmacy which has a consultation as part of the sale as Viagra/Cialis are prescription in the UK. bazza73
As far as I know, the only banned imports into Thailand are meat products. If you have a letter from a doctor or the pharmacy stating the Viagra is for personal use, you should be OK. I bring in six months supply of blood pressure and other medications every time I come back from Australia. My luggage has never been searched for 8 years now. I think the Thai Customs are mainly focused on illicit drugs. Viagra is very cheap here if you don't want to run the risk. Good pharmacies sell it. malt25
As above. I bring in 6 months of prescribed meds each time I return to LOS. I've never declared or been searched. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I'm confident you could bring a corpse in through customs, as long as you don't declare it.
wpcoe
FWIW, I returned to BKK Thursday night from an overseas trip and passing through the Green Lane at about 1145pm, there was NOBODY manning the area as I passed through.
bubba
Viagra is sold over-the-counter in Dubai, so no problems there as well.
jethro69
Well, I was once travelling with 80 packs of generic viagra over 10 airports without any issues. Not saying anyone should try that too, guess I was quite lucky, but then again 320 pills is only the dose for a year
