  1. Hi, I had a few favourite, free movie streaming sites but they've all been shut down recently. Can anyone recommend some that are working? Cheers
  2. Hi, I have a complex issue that probably can’t be dealt with here. I need a dedicated crypto forum where I can get help. Any recommendations? Thanks
  3. Thanks for all the quick replies...you live and learn! 😃
  4. Hi, can anyone tell me where to find a Torx screwdriver in Bangkok. I didn't know what one was before I looked it up so have no idea how easy they are to find before I go out looking. Thanks
  5. ...also, avoid drinking too much coffee. It's a diuretic.
  6. Anyone have a specific location they know where I can get repairs and alterations done on the street? Cheers
  7. Okay, I often walk between Asoke and Nana and haven't seen any. Anywhere particular?
  8. Hi, there used to be a lovely lady at the end of my street who sat with a sewing machine and would do minor repairs and alterations. She disappeared for some reason. There was also a lady at the Soi 4/Sukhumvit intersection, she’s also gone. Any recommendations in the central area? I prefer to give my business to the street vendors than have to hustle with tailors Cheers
  9. Dual pricing exists here in Thailand, no doubt. You have shop around. Not all merchants or service providers, what ever they are selling practise it. Also, wrong to think all Thais couldn’t ‘pay so much’…plenty of middle class/wealthy Thais willing to splash out on dental treatment 😉
  10. The reason implants cost so much is. the imported technology and parts to do them. That's what I've been told. I was quoted 66,500bht, which included a bone graft (if I needed it) at Edelweiss on Sukhumvit yesterday. That's the cheaper Korean implant and crown they also have a US and Swiss (the most expensive) I think you'll find that anywhere in the world skilled work will cost. An implant is not the only solution, dentures are far cheaper and probably what most Thais go for
